Editions
FlexFS is available in two editions. The Community Edition is free of charge and provides a single volume with up to 5 TiB of storage and 5 million files. The Enterprise Edition adds unlimited volumes, end-to-end encryption, proxy groups, and more. Both editions provide full POSIX compliance, support all four cloud storage backends, and include the complete set of CLI utilities.

Choosing an Edition
Section titled “Choosing an Edition”Choose Community if you need a single shared filesystem backed by cloud object storage, with full POSIX compliance, at no cost. Community supports up to 5 TiB of data and 5 million files, making it ideal for development environments, proof-of-concept deployments, and small-to-medium workloads that don’t require end-to-end encryption or proxy groups.
Choose Enterprise if you need multiple volumes, end-to-end encryption, proxy groups for edge caching or hybrid cloud deployments, dynamic Kubernetes provisioning, or fine-grained access control via volume tokens with mount-path scoping. Enterprise requires a license key from Paradigm4.
